Hi it's Sara. So far I have just been typing relections once or twice a week about my field study. I have just been creating headings and writing uderneath them. I could use a good layout for this. I have post-its at my desk at work that I have been using to jot down my ideas and that I incorporate into my reflections. Any better ideas? ( I am not very good at this part...) Also, as I go, I am planning to collect info about my resources and lesson plan ideas.
Sara, I think that the headings are usually pretty effective. Is there enough room to include some artifacts right into your writings? Eg. take pictures with your phone and then print them and stick them under the headings?
I also keep a large piece of paper with the same headings on my desk or on a bulletin board and stick the post-its onto this as I write them.
My current field study data consists of a few e-mails exchanged amongs colleagues, notes on students, quotes from " The inclusion Facilitator's Guide" and a few reflections on stick-it notes. In the future, I plan on collecting students work samples and reflections and take a few pictures.
